Shop until you drop
If you need a break from the beautiful sunshine, and you like fashion, then you're in luck. Marbella allows you to choose from many high-end fashion brands located in the shops of Marbella centre and Puerto Banus, but if it's a shopping malls you want, we have numerous around the coast.
Our Shopping malls are ideal for an all-day outing as they all come with food courts, drinking spots, free parking and even some with cinemas. Our shopping malls are open until 10pm Monday to Saturday however in the summer months (5th July to 13th September) they are also open on a Sunday.
La Canada
If you like shopping then La Canada is your home. You will find over 150 stores inside with many of the popular and most important brands.
You will have no trouble parking as the free parking area is huge, with underground parking available as an option if the outside area gets busy or you'd like to leave your car out of the sun.
The shopping mall offers all varieties of shops, not just for buying clothes, but for technology, home and entertainment, and a very large supermarket called Alcampo.
There are too many shops inside to give each one a special mention. However, to give you an idea, some of the notable brands are:
Adolf Dominguez, Bershka, H&M, Lacoste, Mango, Marks and Spencers, Massimo Dutti, Levi, Zara, Apple, Fnac, Kiehls, Kiko and Sephora for your beauty and perfume requirements.
Miramar
Miramar is situated in Fuengirola, in close proximity to Fuengirola’s downtown and beaches. Once again, you won’t have any trouble parking. The free parking area is huge and much like La Canada it also has ample underground parking as an option.
Inside you will find over 150 stores. Some of the branded stores are duplicates from La Canada but Miramar also offers some different shops which include Primark, Tiger Store, and some independent boutiques.
Miramar also has a great supermarket which is located on the left-hand side as you enter through the main entrance.
Miramar has a 12 screen cinema that plays all current movies. For those who don't understand Spanish there are always options available in VOSE (which mean the original soundtrack which is therefore often in English). Tickets for cinemas in Spain are very reasonably priced compared to other European countries.
Miramar has a unique roof-top chill-out area with cocktail bars that also offer food. For the kids (or adults that are really just big kids) there is a Karting track on the roof which is guaranteed to keep them entertained.
Plaza Mayor
Plaza mayor is located in Malaga (close to airport). It's an open-air Shopping Mall built on the principal of a village. It is split into two key parts (within the same site). One part has over 100 stores well known shops Zara, H&M Springfield and Pull & Bear as well as independent boutiques. The other part is made up mostly of bars and restaurants.
Kids will also be well entertained, with their fantastic games arcade centre which includes a bowling alley, air hockey, pool tables etc.
It also has a 20 screen cinema complex. Look for the VOSE sign if you want to view the film in it's original sound track.
Depending on the time of the year they have other activates going on within Plaza Mayor for kids. There is also a very large outdoor screen to watch some sporting events.
McArthur Glen Designer Outlet
McArthur Glen is an designer outlet with over 100 sought after designer brands which include stylish sportswear and beauty products all with up to a 70% discount.
It's a spacious outdoor shopping complex. This designer outlet is attached to Plaza Mayor, so for a shopaholic this is a dream place to mark on your things-to-do list.
McArthur Glen outlet does boast a few tapas and coffee shops, but with Plaza Mayor next door, your food requirements are well catered for!
