Orange Square

Colourful Spanish town square

"Plaza de los Naranjos" as it's known, is a popular and beautiful square surrounded by wonderful architecture and lots of restaurants. Moments from the square you will find many independent boutique style shops to visit along with the usual souvenir shops to take a look in. If your lucky you might catch a wedding ending near the traditional Spanish church moments from the main square.

A popular Spanish snack known as Churros which is a fried donut-style batter which you then dip in a liquid chocolate can be sampled just off the main square.

Shopping

Souvenirs or spend, spend, spend

Souvenirs can be purchase from many of the key tourist hotspots and usually come with fixed prices. That's not to say you can't try to negotiate.

Marbella has a shopping mall near the centre called La Cañada with a selection of high street and branded shops.

For luxury items the shopping is mainly concentrated in Puerto Banus to the west of Marbella in the marina and in the El Corte Ingles department store.

La Concha

The beating heart of Marbella

This is the highest mountain in Marbella. Climbing it is not as challenging as it may look and a regular pass time for the locals thanks to the exceptional views from the summit.

Young and old take the trip to the peak. Just remember to take plenty of water in the hotter months and good footwear will make it easier on the feet.
